Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton may be living in a happy bubble, but on the outside, there’s one A-lister in particular who’s shaking their head!
The reality star has never had any shortage of critics… That’s the sad truth of what comes with being a powerful woman in the spotlight! Over the years, Kim and the rest of the famous women in her family have been unfairly blamed time and time again for the career stumbles multiple men in their romantic lives have suffered. You know, the so-called “Kardashian Curse” — even though for the most part, it really has just been the men self-sabotaging! Even as recent as her current relationship with Lewis, friends and fans alike have blamed HER for his shocking Formula 1 race losses! Ridiculous!
But despite how unfair the criticism might be, one of Lewis’ recent collaborators reportedly does NOT approve of his relationship with the business mogul: that person is Brad Pitt!
For those who don’t know, just last year, Brad starred in the blockbuster F1 movie, which Lewis produced. At the time of its release, the movie star famously praised the pro athlete in an interview with Entertainment Weekly:
“I don’t think we could have done this movie without [him].”
But now, reports suggest he could be looking at Kim as a road block in the race to a sequel, for which Lewis recently confirmed to Motorsport a script is being worked on. On Tuesday, an insider told In Touch:
“Brad is being firm about what he wants to accomplish. He wants the movie to shoot at least 50 percent more quickly than the first film and he wants Lewis more involved creatively.”
The insider pointedly noted that would require less “trotting around the world” with Kim for Lewis. Oof.
Hinting at Brad’s own messy split from Angelina Jolie, the source went on:
“The first movie was a giant risk and the sequel is going to be a giant mountain to climb to prove that it wasn’t a fluke. Brad has seen how a sour relationship can derail even the simplest business proposition and he’s hoping Lewis can learn from his example, buckle down and focus on what’s important.”
Is Kim not important?? Ouch! But not so fast… The source noted “Brad famously despises the world of reality TV,” but “doesn’t outright hate the Kardashians.” Well that’s good, we guess… The insider, however, noted:
“[Brad is] allergic to the circus-like antics that they use to drum up headlines.”
Strict! HA!
Well, if Kim is truly important to Lewis, he should be able to find a way to make things work. She could possibly even offer a few pointers, as she’s in the movie biz herself now, too!
