Cindy Crawford is remembering her son Presley Gerber with a message of enduring love. The supermodel shared a smiling black-and-white portrait of the 27-year-old alongside a tribute signed by her, her husband Rande Gerber, and their daughter, Kaia. Nearly a month after Presley’s death, the family described themselves as devastated while celebrating the kindness and vulnerability he brought into the world.

Crawford’s Instagram tribute opened with her son’s full name, Presley Walker Gerber, followed by his birth and death dates, July 2, 1999, and September 20, 2026. The family then shared their grief in a message that also expressed gratitude for the years they had together. “We are beyond heartbroken to lose our beloved son and brother. We feel so blessed to have had Presley in our lives for 27 years,” she wrote.

The post spoke for all three members of Presley’s immediate family, with Crawford sharing the words on her account. “He is a sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever,” the actress said.

Crawford, Rande and Kaia also expressed pride in how Presley connected with the world around him, writing, “We are so proud of how he showed up in the world, with kindness and vulnerability.”

The words accompanied a portrait showing Presley smiling, his face turned slightly to the side, with large white feathered wings framing him. Crawford credited photographer Sebastian Faena for the image and thanked him for capturing it.

The photograph and message offered a personal remembrance of Presley, whose life had unfolded in public alongside his famous parents and younger sister.

The tribute also acknowledged the support the family has received since Presley’s death. “We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from so many who know and love our family and even strangers who feel our pain,” she wrote.

Crawford’s post drew more than 112,000 likes within roughly half an hour. The tribute ended with a farewell signed by the people who knew him as a son and brother. “Til we meet again our sweet boy. We love you forever, Mom, Dad and Kaia.”

Presley’s death at 27 was previously confirmed by a family spokesperson.

Presley Gerber Built A Modeling Career Of His Own

Although he grew up as the son of one of fashion’s most recognizable supermodels, Presley also pursued his own work in the industry. He made his runway debut for Moschino in Los Angeles in June 2016, when he was 16. Vogue covered the appearance as an early milestone in his modeling career. More opportunities followed quickly. Within weeks, he had walked for Dolce & Gabbana in Milan and landed a Calvin Klein campaign.

But with the spotlight came some personal struggles. Presley had been open about his mental health long before his death, discussing his experiences with depression during a 2023 appearance on the “Studio 22” podcast. He described looking after his mental health as an ongoing commitment and hoped sharing his struggles could help others facing similar challenges.

“Having struggled with mental health, depression and some other things that come along with that, I think that whether I help one person or a hundred people get out of that place that I was in at one point in my life, that’s all I need to do,” he said.

“[Mental health] is an issue. It is such a big part of my life. It’s a 24/7 job, and there’s so much to it,” he added. “That’s really what I want to do: help people, whether you’re depressed, you’re struggling with something that is having a negative effect on your body. I mean it could be anything, and there’s no judgment.”

Presley’s fashion career sometimes overlapped with his sister’s. In 2018, the siblings appeared in a Calvin Klein Jeans campaign alongside Paris Jackson and Lulu Tenney. The project placed Presley and Kaia together in front of the camera as both built their careers in modeling.

Their professional lives gave the public glimpses of the brother and sister together. Crawford’s latest post, however, returned the focus to their place within the family.
